🏗️ Construction Speed Matters

Construction Speed is built by stacking multiple bonuses together before starting an upgrade.

The more bonuses you combine, the shorter your construction timer becomes.

Plan first. Upgrade second.

1️⃣ Research the Hammer Nodes

The foundation of Construction Speed starts in the Development Research Tree.

Research the Hammer nodes to unlock Construction Speed bonuses.

Later, continue into the Full Development Tree for additional Construction Speed research.

Completing both trees provides the strongest long-term foundation.

2️⃣ Stack Your Construction Bonuses

Construction Speed comes from several different systems working together.

Before starting a major upgrade, stack as many of these bonuses as possible:

🔨 Research

Research Construction Speed (Hammer) nodes.

👥 Survivors

Recruit, assign, and promote Survivors that provide Construction Speed bonuses.

👑 Royal Center Titles

If available, activate Construction-related Royal Center Titles before beginning large upgrades.

⭐ VIP

Activate VIP before major construction projects to gain additional Construction Speed bonuses.

📅 Events

Whenever possible, begin major upgrades during events such as:

  • Alliance Duel
  • Battle for Survival
  • Other construction-related events

One upgrade can contribute to multiple rewards.

3️⃣ Royal Center Titles

Two of the most valuable construction titles are:

Minister of Construction

  • +50% Construction Speed
  • +25% Research Speed

Minister of Development

  • +25% Construction Speed
  • +50% Research Speed

If your kingdom offers these titles, try to schedule major upgrades while they’re active.

4️⃣ VIP Bonus

VIP provides additional Construction Speed bonuses.

Instead of activating VIP randomly, consider saving your VIP activation for:

  • Large Sanctuary upgrades
  • Expensive buildings
  • Long construction timers

This helps maximize the value of each VIP activation.

5️⃣ Align With Events

Planning your upgrades around events lets one action earn multiple rewards.

Construction during events can earn:

  • Alliance Duel points
  • Battle for Survival points
  • Event milestones
  • Normal construction progress

This is another example of reward stacking.

Don’t rush into a big upgrade just because you have the resources.

Take a minute to ask yourself:

  • Do I have my Construction Speed research?
  • Are my Survivors assigned?
  • Is a Royal Center title available?
  • Should I activate VIP?
  • Can I wait for an event?

Sometimes waiting a few hours can save days of construction time while earning extra rewards at the same time.
