🚚 Using Caravans to Scout Other Servers

Depending on your server’s rules, you may be asked not to plunder caravans from your own server. If that’s the case, enable the “Exclude caravans from this server” option in the Caravan Trade screen. This filters out your server’s caravans and helps prevent accidental attacks on allies.

Instead, use caravans from your KvK opponent or other eligible servers to travel. Plundering a caravan transports you to that server, giving you an opportunity to scout the map.

Once you arrive, you can:

  • 🔍 Search for Secret Missions
  • 🕵️ Find Covert Missions
  • 🚚 Locate easy caravans for alliance members
  • ⚔️ Scout potential KvK targets
  • 📍 Share useful coordinates in Alliance Chat, Alliance Mail, or World Chat

Remember, the goal isn’t always to raid the caravan for loot. Sometimes the caravan is simply a free ride to another server, allowing you to gather valuable information that can benefit your alliance or even your entire server.

Mothy Tip: Before using this strategy, always follow your server’s rules regarding caravans and cross-server activity. Every kingdom has its own expectations and agreements.

Server Rules & Etiquette

While the game allows you to raid caravans and plunder Covert Operations, many servers establish their own rules to encourage cooperation and strengthen their community.

Server 181 Rules

  • Do not raid caravans from players on our server.
  • Do not plunder Covert Operations from players on our server.
  • Target players from other servers instead.

These rules help maintain positive relationships within our server while keeping more resources available for our own community.

If you’re playing on a different server, always follow your own server’s rules and leadership guidance.

🕵️ Covert Operations (Secret Missions)

Covert Operations are a daily activity that allows you to dispatch heroes to complete missions for valuable rewards. Missions can reward resources, speedups, hero materials, Pocket Watches, Treasure Map Shards, and more.

Mission Quality

Mission rewards are determined by rarity, star level, and the mission’s reward roll.

Some missions display a red box with a 👍 icon. A red-box mission has rolled the highest possible rewards for that mission’s rarity and cannot be refreshed.

Because of this, a red-box SSR mission may be worth keeping instead of refreshing for a low-star UR mission. Always compare the mission rewards before deciding to refresh.

Refreshing Missions

Only missions that have not been dispatched can be refreshed.

Refreshing costs either Refresh Tickets or Gems—both are valuable resources.

Every refresh is a gamble. You never know what the next mission will be. You could reroll into a lower rarity or lose a valuable red-box mission.

Refresh Tickets do not expire. Saving them for Alliance Duel Day 2 and Day 6 can help you earn additional event points while conserving your Gems.

Dispatching Heroes

Each mission has Level and Star requirements that must be met before it can be dispatched.

Match the mission requirements instead of automatically sending your strongest heroes. Efficient hero management allows you to dispatch more missions at the same time.

Assists & Plunder

Each day you can:

  • Help alliance members complete missions.
  • Plunder eligible Covert Operations from other players.
  • Complete up to 5 Helps and 5 Plunders each day.

Helping alliance members strengthens your alliance, while plundering provides additional rewards.

Expedition Queues

Covert Operations use Expedition Queues, not your normal march queues.

Each Expedition Queue can run 2 missions at the same time. Unlocking additional Expedition Queues increases the number of missions you can complete each day.

🦋 Mothy Tips

  • Don’t overcommit your heroes. Match the mission’s Level and Star requirements instead of always sending your strongest heroes. This leaves more qualified heroes available so you can dispatch additional missions at the same time.
  • Refreshing missions costs either Refresh Tickets or Gems—both are valuable resources. Since every refresh is a gamble, spend them wisely. If you’re F2P, planning ahead will usually provide more value than chasing every UR mission. If you’re a spender, you have more flexibility with Gems, but it’s still worth comparing mission rewards before refreshing.
  • Don’t judge a mission by its rarity alone. A red-box mission has the highest possible rewards for its rarity. Before refreshing, compare the mission rewards, star level, and rarity to decide which mission best fits your goals.
  • Save Refresh Tickets for Alliance Duel Day 2 and Day 6. They don’t expire, and using them during Alliance Duel helps you earn additional event points while saving your Gems.

Treasure Digger

Treasure Digger is one of the easiest ways to earn valuable rewards, especially when your alliance works together.

  • Request Treasure Shard trades whenever you sign in. Once a request is completed, you can immediately create another.
  • Check the Alliance Exchange regularly. If you have duplicate shards, trade them for the pieces you still need.
  • Helping alliance members complete their trades keeps new trade requests available for everyone.
  • Complete SSR and UR Covert Operations to earn additional Treasure Map Shards.
  • Collect all 7 different Treasure Map Shards to begin an exploration.
  • Every exploration opens a reward chest.
  • If you do not receive a UR Chest after 15 consecutive explorations, your 16th exploration is guaranteed to award one.

🦋 Mothy Tip: Check Treasure Digger every time you log in. As your trade requests are completed, you can post new ones. The more active your alliance is with trading, the faster everyone completes maps and earns rewards.

Treasure Shard Trading

Treasure Shard Trading helps you complete Treasure Maps faster by exchanging duplicate map pieces with your alliance.

  • Create a trade when you’re missing a Treasure Map Shard.
  • Offer duplicate pieces that you don’t currently need.
  • Check the Alliance Exchange regularly to help fill other players’ requests.
  • You may only have one active trade request at a time.
  • Once your trade is completed, create another request if you’re still missing pieces.

🦋 Mothy Tip: Check your trades every time you log in. Completed requests let you post new ones, keeping your Treasure Map progress moving.
